The cookie monster from Sesame Street does not like KeXi
A trademark dispute has broken out over the mascot Kexi of the new KExI on-demand public transport buses in the Kelheim district (Germany). The licensors of “Sesame Workshop” are threatening the responsible district with legal action because it is too similar to the cookie monster from Sesame Street – blue fuzzy hair, big eyes and cookie-loving, as the name suggests. Already printed flyers as well as the lettering on the minibuses had to be removed. Invested tax money is for the (Oscar) ton, as the distinguishing features between Kexi and the cookie monster from Sesame Street are obviously missing.
